FIFA 20 players that take part in the Global Series events earn points. These points allow players to qualify for FIFA eWorld Cup. There are several types of events that will be played during the Global Series. All of them reward the participants with points but some are worth more than others. FUT Champions Cups and FIFA Majors are the events that give the second highest number of points. The points allocation is the same for both events. The first place gets 2,000 points. The second place gets 1,400 points. Third and fourth get 800 points. Fifth to eighth get 500 points. Ninth to 16^th get 300 points. The remaining 16 players get 150 points. There will be six FUT Champions Cups events. The prize pool for these events is $200,000. In fact, all events have other rewards besides points so players are compensated for their hard work. There are no details about the Majors yet.

Licensed Qualifying Events and League Qualifying Tournament III also have the same points allocation. The winner gets 850 points. The runner-up gets 450 points. The third and fourth get 315. Fifth to eighth get 150 points. Ninth to 16^th get 110 points and the remaining players get 80 points. League Qualifying Tournament I gives 200 points to the first place, 110 to the second, 80 to third and fourth, 40 to fifth to eighth, 20 to ninth to 16^th, and 10 to the other 16 players. EAM Trophy Tournaments and PS4 Country Tournaments have the same points allocation system. League Qualifying Tournament II gives 450 points to the winner, 200 to the second place, 110 to third and fourth, 80 to fifth to eighth, 40 to ninth to 16^th, and 20 for the last 16 players.

FUT Champions Weekend League events represent a great way to get points from home. You get points based on how many wins you score. At least 20 wins are needed to get points and you get one point for each win. More than 27 wins will grant you 30 points. The Global Series Playoffs is the last event before the eWorld Cup. It represents the biggest chance to get points. The first place gets 4,000 points. The second gets 3,000 points. Third to fourth get 2,000 points. Fifth to eighth get 1,000 points. Ninth to 16^th get 500 points. Seventeenth to 32^nd get 250 points. The last 32 players don't get any points. The points will determine which Global Series participants make it to the FIFA eWorld Cup.
